I was able to connect 1 time for 2 minutes but it disconnected without any reasons and I havent been able to re-connect since.
It is possible the driver did not overwrite the old one, and there is an alternate way to get the ar507eg to install. All wif are GMT Malware programs downloaded; the driver did not fix my wireless connection problem.

Go to the device manager, click on the Atheros wifi adapter. I know your post is pretty old, but i ran across it while searching for resolution to my own issue.

So if my ISP can give me more than 16 when wired than why not on wifi when using the same connection?
