This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the ‘needs- upstream- testing’ text. It worked for an AR v1.

OMG, sorry, your reply wasn’t there yet when I posted. However compat-wireless contains the atl1xx ethernet drivers as well. You are currently viewing LQ as a guest.
I see the same problem. You need the kernel-firmware package.

I have another workaround. I just noticed a stable network interface after updating to linux 3.
