I’ve done this procedure about 3 times now fresh install and drivers but it keeps happening. Your story is light so my answer may repeat the past encounters I’ve had with this issue.
I’m not sure if it’s my motherboard that’s having the problem or I don’t have the right drivers.

I also bought the PCI card it is not recognized. To futz with failing onboard cards or reinstall the wifi card driver AND Dell’s Quickset software yes it is mandatory!

I think this is why the wireless lan stopped working because the wireless card I took out the computer, I put it in another computer and it is working great.
