Most servers still have SCSI drives; that means you’ll need the right driver s for the disk controller, you may need to know what kind of RAID was configured on it, and then you’ll have to wjndows the drivers at startup.

They both both start setup, say they are loading the files, say setup is starting windows, then goes to the welcome to setup screen. No problem at all, please post qindows if that helps you out. Samuel A Mungujakisa Mar 25, This is my first IBM server so I was at a loss.

You may not need to repair or reinstall. But this is not working, booting from windows CD does not pick up the hard disks, and booting from serverGuide CD does not give the repair option.

Thread starter Ikram Abid Start date Mar 24, I wasted hours trying to perform the normal repair operation, and when at last I decided to backup the data and format the hard disk, Windows repaired the errors on the disk, and I booted so perfectly that Wondows only did a few disk cleanups and virus checks to justify the long time I took working on it.
On Friday, September 21, Boot up the machine, and allow it to check and repair the hard disk.
Another option is to create a installation disk with integrated drivers. This posting is provided “AS IS” with no warranties, and confers no rights. I am looking for any help I can get here. You’ll simply have to get a USB windos drive or hook up an old-fashioned one to complete this; surely you can manage that somehow?
