MACGREGOR MACTECH NVG2 DRIVER
Your Reviews Macgregor Irons User Reviews 5 out of 5 Long and easy to hit 01 March By Stevo I purchased these irons 4 years ago to replace my ping irons, I play off 9 and they are the best irons I have ever hit, not sure what they are made of but they explode off the club face compared to any other club I have used. It sets up beautifully, and gives you total confidence. Every shot feels like dead center. I love the feel, sound and forgiveness of it. Ingeniously engineered with three bend points and four stiffness zones, the Quadra Action shaft generates, loads, stabilizes and releases increased energy at impact.

I had much better control today. Had my first on the green in two on a long par 5. Best driver I’ve ever hit.
This driver has spoiled me. And the edge of the face can put you a long way down the middle. Lots of bold scoops and angles on the tri-plane sole, and plenty of logos and lettering. So I took the speeder shaft and put it in the draw model along with 10 msctech of mctech in the toe and took the pro launch blue 65S from the draw and put it in the tour head. Now I will say that just the sound alone is miles better than the aluminum bat sound of the Hibore. I realized that the shot I somtimes play towards the toe with the Nvg2T, to play it a maftech shorter with a slght draw, would never work with a different make.

The control of this driver is unbelievable and, perhaps due to its “Tour” namesake, is able to work shots left and right mactceh maintains, with great accuracy, long carry and overall distance with every tee-shot.
Beta-titanium is high-octane supreme. I like the tour model because it has an open face, but the shaft was launching a tad low for my taste.
Prior to this I had the original NVG. Tighter dispersion and an incredibly “boring” trajectory. Well, mine is not. Like the three grades of gasoline, there are three grades of titanium. The stock Fujikura shaft is good, especially for those with a smooth tempo.
But, everyone on tour appears to love it!! Very forgiving on off center hits too. GolfWRX – matcech world’s largest and best online golf community. I don’t know if I’m going to find them, but I would love to get my hands on the fairway woods. It has two tungsten weights in the sole that lower the centre of gravity, making it really easy to get balls airborne.
Just bought one off ebay. Posted 01 October – Posted 21 June – I will keep updating as I find things I like and don’t like. The clubhead utilizes two kinds of titanium. But it does not really seem go give up all that much hitting into the wind either.

I love this driver. I play the 9 degree tour with an x-flex.
IMO it has to be one of the best cup face ideas in drivers in a long time. I know it’s not the Speeder like some believe; I asked MacGregor and they said it isn’t.

I totally agree that it seems very forgiving, but that “doink” sound is ugly and there is less macgrregor when I do hit the sweet spot. Overall we loved this club.
The proprietary technology inside the Fujikura Quadra Action shaft will increase your swing speed. This driver is a very long, solid driver.
