Is it the extra degree of loft that’s hurting distance or would a different shaft get me back the yards I’ve lost? From the Toney Penna and Tommy Armour drivers to the Tourney and Eye-O-Matic drivers, many of the most-loved and most-played persimmon woods of the last century. Quadra tungsten weighting complements the power of the NVG2 with an abundance of control – something you’ll appreciate if you want to play your second shot from the fairway, not the tee box.
Both the irons and driver are being sold at super low prices Overall a great club with a quality build and looks. Goes great, good flight and I find on the first tryout at least, that I teed the ball a bit lower than normal which I likeand it just carries for ever.

Due to it’s MOI. I’ve forgotten my password. My misses were still the same with the club low hooks, high slices, pulls. The range ball marks are my own. The ball just seems to jump off the face. Of course, more swing speed means more distance. The MacGregor felt much better to me, relatively effortless and landing meters and carrying through quickly.
I have about a swing speed and thought the regular shaft would suit me better. The stock Fujikura nbg2 is good, especially for those with a smooth tempo.
Part of the reason I bought the club was to try this shaft, as going by the specs it should suit my swing. The MACTEC NVG2 driver is geared more toward the average player, with more weight in the heel area to fight a slice, a less-stout shaft, and a slightly simplified design that is more cost efficient.

Carry distance was good, and I think the roll is where I picked up my extra distance. I will keep updating as I find things I like and don’t like. macgrego
Had my first on the green in two on a long par 5. Beyond Performance Stunning design.
macgrefor Does it live up to the hype — and the history? Shaft is a Grafalloy Prolaunch Red Xflex 65g i think. I have talked to 2 pro shops in this area and no one has heard of this driverThanks.
