Hey, I had the simillar issue. Austin ”Danger” Powers 4, 11 37 For example, if you want to easily find out the drives with largest write speed, simply click the ‘Write Speed’ link in the column header. They both work for my similar troubles with my WD Passport, but this one is much easier to perform. Report Respond to Ambucias.
What should I do? Does it show in device manager?

You need to format it in order to use it on your Mac. If it is a newly bought one, you need to initialise it and format it, so that Windows 7 can see it.

I fixed the problem by reinstalling the driver for the drive with the following steps: I have the option to eject the drive and can open from the task but doesn’t show from MY Ppassport. Moreover, the system is making a sound that it has passoprt a new hardware but no results are being displayed.

It should be ready to use. I am having same problem here with two 2TB WD passport drives.
Then it will change to “New paesport, unallocated”. It happens to me every couple months with passporr on Windows 7 64bit. How satisfied are you with this response? Additional to that when choosing Show hidden Icons on my Taskbar on the bottom of the screen, all icons are moving as if there is a new item is coming and keeps flashing until I unplug the HDD.
